MY AMAZING PACE UNIVERSITY ARTIST RESIDENCY IS COMING TO A END 8.31.10

IT WAS A SHORT BUT WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE BEING A ARTIST IN RESIDENCY AT PACE UNIVERSITY THIS SUMMER...

I WORKED ON MY "PARADISE RECONSTRUCTION IN THE AESTHETIC OF FUNK" SITE SPACE TITLED:

"INSPIRATION VIBRATION STATION NO. 1.

THIS CROCHET INSTALLATION IS NOT THE ART WORK...

THIS IS THE INSPIRATIONAL WORKSPACE, THAT IS CREATED BY THE SUPER-NATURAL EVERYDAY ARTIST,

SO THAT SHE/HE CAN BE INSPIRED TO CREATE THE INSPIRATIONAL ART WORK FOR THE SUPER-NATURAL DOMESTIC LIFESTYLE.

THIS IS MY BRILLIANT SUPER-NATURAL STUDENT INTERN SEAN,...

DEMONSTRATING HOW TO USE THE SPACE WHILE HE LISTENS TO HIS MUSIC AND WORKS ON HIS COMPUTER.

I WILL WRITE MORE ABOUT THIS PROJECT WHEN I GET MORE TIME....

THE INSPIRATION SPACE WILL CONSIST OF A VERY LARGE FLOOR PILLOW,

THIS IS THE UNFINISHED CROCHET PIECE SEAN IS SITTING ON,

AND A CROCHET FLOOR COVERING THAT GOES UNDER AND SPREAD ABOUT 24" BEYOND THE EDGE OF THE PILLOW ON THE FLOOR.

I WILL WRITE MORE, I PROMISE.

MORE POWER TO THE IMAGINATION!!!!

  2. Hello! Your work is absolutely stunning and I'm a great admirer of it. I'm a freelance writer for Crochet Today magazine and I'm interested in writing a short piece about you and your work. Would you be game for doing a short interview? Email is fine if that works for you. I apologize reaching out to you in this public way, but I haven't had luck finding other contact info for you. maya dot elson at gmail dot com thanks!
