NYC FASHION WEEK DEBUT OF THE "FUNKY CHIC", FIRST LADY, CROCHET CROWNS, BY XENOBIA BAILEY. INSPIRED BY FIRST LADY EXTRAORDINAIRE MICHELLE OBAMA.











GREETINGS GOOD FOLKS,.... WITH THE ARRIVAL OF FALL, AND ALL THE EXCITEMENT OF NEW YORK CITY FASHION WEEK, CAME THIS (HARLEM, U.S.A. STYLE) INSPIRATION OF MY "FIRST LADY/"CHURCH LADY" CROCHET CROWNS, INSPIRED BY OUR "FIRST LADY" MICHELLE OBAMA. THE FIRST LADY SERVES AS A NEW-FOUND MUSE FOR SOME OF MY 21st CENTURY SUPERNATURAL CREATIONS.

THIS IS A SNEEK PREVIEW OF WHAT THE FIRST LADY/"CHURCH LADY" CROWNS WILL LOOK LIKE.... THIS CREATION IS STILL IN THE DESIGNING PHASE.... I AM GOING TO BE MAKING SOME CHANGES AND ADDITIONS TO THIS CROWN, I WILL POST THE UPDATED WHEN THEY HAPPEN.

THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A OVER SIZED ULTRA-FUNKY-CHIC, "OLE RUGGED" CROCHET CROWN, AS I DEVELOPE THE CONCEPT MORE, YOU WILL BEGIN TO SEE THE DIRECTION OF MY VISION.

We enjoyed your show in Kohler, Wisconsin, you were definantly the highlight! We were shocked to meet you in person we were not aware you were there what a wonderful surprise - can not believe you started crocheting in 83. Your talent is astounding.
